Gaby Erickson

Marjorie and Esmerelda are a lamp duo made in collaboration with the Twin Cities based artist Stella Coyle Healy.

The shades are mulberry paper treated with ink and collage elements attached to a metal ring connecting them to the turned wooden bases. The base of Marjorie consists of four layers of 1 inch baltic birch plywood, while the base of Esmerelda consists of a turned blank of amboyna burl.​ Various sized holes were drilled into the bases to contain basic electronic wiring.
